We are Josh and Autumn Shaffer, owners of Epic Painting & Exteriors. We started this business back in 2012 in Madison, Wisconsin. Our journey has been a shared endeavor, one that goes beyond expanding our company – it’s about creating lasting impressions on homes and families across Dane County and surrounding counties.

We contracted Epic Painting to paint our main shared living space (kitchen, living & dining room, entryway and hallway) in early September. It was a competitive bid, with the understanding that it would happen after cold weather set in (allowing them to complete their long list of exterior jobs). We got notified about a week ahead of time when our date arrived, and the patching, texturing, priming and painting took most of two days.
The workers were friendly, respectful of our belongings and hard working. The end result is exactly what we wanted. We will definitely use Epic again on future remodeling projects.

How long will my project are take?
Most interior rooms take 1–3 days, full exteriors 3–7 days, depending on size, prep, and weather. We’ll give you a clear timeline during the estimate.
What prep work do you handle?
We cover floors and furniture, repair drywall, caulk gaps, sand and prime as needed, and pressure wash exteriors to ensure proper adhesion and a durable finish.

When you decide to enhance your space, give us a call and we will schedule your free estimate appointment.
During this appointment, we will assess the scope of your project and answer any initial questions you may have. After we will provide you with a detailed and transparent estimate.
2. Seamless Scheduling, Careful Craftsmanship
Once you are satisfied with the estimate, our team will work with you to schedule your project. We aim to fit a schedule that fits your timeline. Before your start date, our team will reach out to you to finalize any details as well as answer any additional questions you may have about the process.

3. Beyond Satisfaction, Every Time
After completion, we schedule a detailed final walkthrough with you. This gives you time to inspect the work room by room, ask questions, note any touch-ups, and confirm that every detail meets your expectations before we wrap up.
We’ll also review any warranty information, discuss care or maintenance tips, and make a plan to address the minor adjustments you request so the project closes out smoothly.
